Bespoke Staircase
The brief was to come up with a high class bespoke staircase to give the appearance of a floating staircase in keep with the open plan kitchen/living area.

Our bespoke joinery section made solid oak stairs and landing which was supported by structural steel fabrication hidden within a glass finish with requested minimal jointing for a seamless look.
23mm toughened glass in sections up to 4m long and almost 400kg in weight were used to continue creating the flowing/floating image requested. -
Brockholes, New Build - Elvir Zahirovic
Elvir’s project was a bespoke build designed by Acumen Architects (www.acumenarchitects.co.uk).

This was a challenging project due to the position of the plot and the extreme ground conditions. Some of the challenges faced.
# tree root protection
# reinforced metal cages to foundations.
# large structural retaining walls.
# extensive landscape drainage.
Although many challenges were faced the end result was amazing and working alongside my client Elvir who has a great understanding of the challenges & obstacles a new build of this size can create was an absolute pleasure. -
Cedar Wood Extension
This was a contemporary timber frame design – on the rear of a traditional brick built bungalow an Eco friendly build.

Highly insulated, achieving really low U values, cladded in hand made brick & cedar wood.
The large glass sliding doors on both storeys really made the property feel connected to the stunning rural views & surroundings. -
Oakland House, Sun Room Extension
Client Brief – To create a spacious sun room with additional outdoor entertaining area.

The building is grade 2 listed, therefore the design had to be in keep with the original building type and materials.
As you can see from the pictures the end result fitted seamlessly with the original dwelling and surroundings. -
